Arinda Brooks

After graduating from Southern Oregon University in 2006, she moved across the country to pursue a legal career, earning her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 2009.

During law school, Arinda began clerking at Landman Akashian, a Boston law firm, where she later joined as an attorney focusing on workers' compensation. After seven fulfilling years advocating for injured workers, Arinda decided to build something of her own. In 2013, she founded Brooks Law Firm, a firm grounded in justice, empathy, and community.

As CEO of Brooks Law Firm, Arinda oversees the firm's vision, growth, and commitment to client-centered service. She leads with a mission to expand access to high-quality legal representation for immigrants, injured workers, and underserved communities, particularly Massachusetts's Spanish-speaking and Brazilian Portuguese-speaking populations. The firm continues to partner with organizations like the Brazilian Workers Center in Allston to further this mission.

Though her daily responsibilities have evolved from courtrooms to the boardroom, Arinda's passion for helping people remains at the heart of her work. She takes pride in mentoring her team, improving legal access through innovation, and ensuring that Brooks Law Firm is a place where clients are heard, empowered, and supported.

Arinda is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Women's Bar Association of Massachusetts. She lives in Manchester-by-the-Sea with her son and daughter.
